Welcome to the fascinating world of
marine larvae in the Arctic

What you will find here

Most people know what a sea urchin, a crab, or a sea star looks like. But have you ever seen their larvae? You would be surprised how different from their parents they can look.

My research made me appreciate these underestimated creatures, so this webpage is a stage to give marine larvae of the Arctic the appreciation they deserve (and to share my research, of course).

In this website you will find photographs from the different larvae we find in our samples, from meroplankton to fish, blog entries highlighting our research, and many more insights into the world of marine larvae!
